A native of Utah, Jill was raised exploring and appreciating the exceptional public lands and outdoor opportunities that make the state unique. She built her career in hospitality and recreation, working with a variety of organizations in Utah and Hawaii, including the Battleship Missouri Memorial. Drawn back to the red rock landscapes she calls home, Jill joined Zion Forever as a Retail Manager and steadily advanced through the organization, ultimately becoming Executive Vice President. Her extensive product expertise, strategic vendor partnerships, and commitment to excellence have helped position Zion Forever’s retail operations among the best in the national park community, contributing to multiple years of retail sales exceeding $12 million. Today, Jill oversees Zion Forever’s six park stores, leads product development initiatives, and works closely with staff and National Park Service partners to enhance the visitor experience while supporting the organization's mission and strategic plan. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time outdoors, golfing, hiking, and exploring the public lands that inspired her lifelong connection to conservation and stewardship. Jill’s dedication to her community is reflected in her extensive leadership service, including two terms as President of the Zion Canyon Rotary Club, service on the Zion Canyon Visitor Bureau Board, and two terms as President and Board Member of the Peaks, Plateaus and Canyons Association (PPCA).

Hong relocated to Southern Utah in 2020 and was appointed Director of Accounting for the Zion Forever Project in 2024. Before joining the organization, she served for more than four years as Controller for the Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah. Hong holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a master’s degree in accounting and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Texas. Her professional experience spans the healthcare, industrial automation, and journalism. Hong currently resides in Cedar City, Utah, with her husband, daughter, dog(Wilson),and tortoise(Vivaldi). Prior to settling in Cedar City, she traveled extensively and lived in Chengdu, Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Houston, and Lubbock, experiences that have given her a broad perspective.

Yet another Midwest transplant, Elizabeth (Liz) relocated to Southern Utah from Chicago in 2021. With a background in both corporate HR, field HR, and retail management, Liz was the first hire in the organization’s history specifically for HR. During her time, she has transitioned the organization to an online payroll platform, developed policies and procedures, and led the establishment of core values. She hopes to continue developing HR programs and procedures to support the employees of the Forever Project as they execute at the highest level.

Patrick keeps Zion Forever Project’s technology moving forward, supporting the systems, tools, and digital infrastructure that help every department do its best work. He has led major technology transitions across point-of-sale, warehouse management, Microsoft 365, web systems, network infrastructure, and internal support processes.

Whether he is solving a behind-the-scenes systems issue, improving a workflow, strengthening cybersecurity, or building a better digital experience, Patrick is always looking for ways to make work easier, smoother, and more connected.

Patrick lives in Washington, Utah, with his wife, Melanie, and their two boys. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and staying involved in the community as an avid soccer coach.

Mike has served as the Zion Forever Warehouse Manager for the last 5 years and was promoted to the role of Director. He brings a wealth of experience in hospitality and operations leadership from his past experiences working as a Restaurant Manager and Events Director. In his current role, he provides leadership to the operations teams through logistics and facilities support. Mike enjoys hitting the trails on his bike, or you can find him hitting the slopes.

Relocating from Salt Lake City in early 2024, Joan is the newest addition to the retail leadership team. She is responsible for leading the store managers and assisting Jill Burt with product development. Her background includes store management with companies such as Columbia Sportswear and Sur La Table. A self-proclaimed adventurer, Joan loves everything about the outdoors, including hiking and canyoneering.

Tiffany made the move out West to join Zion Forever in March of 2021. She has a M.Ed. in Higher Education and Leadership and worked for universities in Iowa, advancing their mission through philanthropic support. As the Director of Development for the Zion Forever Project, she plays an instrumental role in managing fundraising initiatives and processes, coordinating events, and securing grants and partnerships for the organization. In her personal time, Tiffany enjoys painting, cooking, and reading. She is always on the lookout for new book recommendations or recipes.
