Art in the Park
Art in the Park is a unique program co-managed by the Zion Forever Project and Zion National Park Education teams. This program is designed to provide college-level art classes with the opportunity to engage in art activities while fostering meaningful connections with park visitors.

Example Itinerary
- 9:00 AM: Arrive at South Entrance of Zion National Park
- 9:15 AM: Welcome & Overview of the Day
- 9:40 AM: Handout art kits, assign art locations
- 10:00 AM: Depart to assigned art locations
- 11:00 AM: Begin creating
- 2:30 PM: Travel back to Nature Center
- 3:00 PM: Check in art kits & materials
- 3:15 PM: Discussion & Debrief with Art in the Park staff
- 4:00 PM: Depart Zion National Park
📋 Program Requirements
- Participate in a 45-minute virtual pre-visit session via Teams.
- Students will create art at designated park locations and engage with the public.
- Professors must arrange university motor pool transportation and insurance.
- Students provide their own art supplies and meals.
- Public-use art kits will be provided on-site by Zion Forever Project.
- End-of-day group discussion & debrief required.
