Join a Field Institute naturalist for an introduction to the geology, flora, fauna, and cultural history of Zion.

Interpretive hikes are the naturalist's choice with each program a unique outdoor learning adventure.

Create Your Own Custom Guided Hike
In addition to the above regularly scheduled hikes, you can create your own “Custom Explore Zion” and incorporate hiking into your own personalized learning experience with a naturalist for a day. You can choose your topic, the distance and the difficulty of your hke, and whether your custom hike is a half-day or a full-day. Custom rates for a half-day start at $200 for up to four people, and $15 per person thereafter up to eleven people; and full-day rates are $325 up to four people and $30 per person there after up to eleven.
