Zion Through the Lens

What better time to photograph in Zion than when spring wildflowers abound, when the river runs fast and the wildlife is abundant? The primary goal in this class will be learning to operate your camera in full manual mode. Other topics to be covered include controlling depth of field, exposure control, appropriate use of filters, “seeing photographically,” composition, controlling white balance, making the most of small and medium formats and more. Work in digital or with film, in color and/or black and white. Feel free to bring samples of your work for a group critique. Limited to 11 participants.
