Field Institute treks are a great way to explore and learn about Zion. Join a Field Institute naturalist for an introduction to the geology, flora, fauna and cultural history of Zion. Foray into the park with a naturalist to learn about how animals and plants survive in Zion. Learn about how Zion Canyon was formed and the geological activity still taking place in the park. Bring your camera for photo opportunities. Interpretive hikes are the naturalist’s choice with each program a unique outdoor learning adventure. Destinations and trails vary. Limited to 11 participants. The hiking difficulty for this class is rated as easy to moderate

Meets: 9 am at the Zion National Park Human History Museum and continues no later than 2pm.
