Earth Day Festival
April 19, 2008


There will be short interpretive hikes, games, workshops and things to do outdoors for all ages. Get ideas from low-water landscaping to increasing energy efficiency in your home. Visit information tables and learn about local animals, plants, cryptobiotic soils, astronomy, Zion history, volunteer opportunities, and more. All events are free with paid park admission/pass.
Fee: Free (after paid park entrance fee)
Ages: all ages
Meets: Zion Canyon Visitor Center and other locations. Schedule of the day's events posted at the Visitor Center.
Time: 8 am–4 pm (Interpretive walks begin at 8 am. Information tables will be set up at Zion Giant Screen Theatre Complex.)
