Fall Foliage Photography
October 27-29, 2012

Spend three days in this in-depth workshop on photography during one of the most visually exciting times of the year in Zion. Shades of yellow, peach and red abound as the group works among the box elder, cottonwood, and maple trees in the park. The group will work in several geologically distinct areas with the chance to photograph sweeping landscapes or to concentrate on the small things that make Zion special. For the serious photo enthusiast, this is a chance to further your techniques and see the park’s many natural resources. A primary goal in this class will be to teach all participants how to operate their cameras in full manual mode. Slide shows and indoor lectures will be a part of this workshop although most of the time will be spent in the field. Feel free to bring samples of your work for a group critique. Limited to 11 participants.
