Geology of Zion
April 11, 2008

The group will get an up-close look at the effects of landslides and rock falls which still occur in the park. The role and power of water in the cutting and shaping of the canyon will also be revealed through a riverside hike. This is an excellent overview of the subject for the beginning to mid-level geologist.
