Spring Summer Events 2008
Amazing
Earthfest May 19-24 2008
Pipe Spring National Monument is kicking off its summer program
of ranger tours, talks and demonstrations with a full slate of programs
during Amazing Earthfest, May 19 – 24, 2008. Come and learn
about crafts of the Paiutes on Monday, May 19, 8 am-noon; blacksmithing
on Tuesday, May 20, 9:30 am-noon; the art of cheesemaking on Wednesday,
May 21, 8-11am; solve some Cultural History Mysteries on Thursday,
May 22, 8-11 am; branding on Friday, May 23, 8 am-noon; tithing
ranches on Saturday, May 24, 9-10 am; and so much more!
Ranger-led
Tours and Talks
Throughout the
summer Pipe Spring offers a variety of daily programs. Ranger led
tours of the historic fort are offered every 30 minutes. Demonstrations
and talks on the cultural and natural history of Pipe Spring and
the Arizona Strip are offered every morning.

Special
Programs:
Keep an eye
out for special programs – such as evening programs on bats,
hikes into Mu-uputs Canyon on the Kaibab Indian Reservation, and
children’s nature hikes.
Regular entrance
fees apply for all day or evening program at Pipe Spring National
Monument - $5.00 per person16 years and older.
Interagency
Annual, Senior, and Access passes are accepted and sold at Pipe
Spring.
Pipe Spring
National Monument is 15 miles west of Fredonia, Arizona on AZ highway
389 – or 45 miles east ofHurricane, Utah on UT highway 50
and AZ highway 389.
